That method is fuckin' bullshit.

I don't know what I'm doing wrong, but I can never get enough traction. My feet just slide out from under me, even on cement.

On another note, good luck with "training!"

Good skill to have, but unnecessary IMO. My bike weighs 550lb, I weigh 145 and I'm able to wrestle it back up using the handlebars.

I guess if you have a tourer its really good practice.

I'll be sure to let everyone know if I end up dead.

The only thing in my favor is that I'm not a virgin when it comes to motorcycles. Just inexperienced.

Thats all wrong. Everybody knows you lift with your back. Quick jerking motions. You'll get a hernia if you lift with your legs.

Hope you don't have a blonde with a great rack who loves to splash water on her bra-less self because of the heat like I had when I went.

you don't need that trick with a 385lb sport bike. Just lift it up, wussy man!

I think last I checked, an Ultra Classic was north of 900lb decked out. For some, this is a good idea. A very few some, but nonetheless.

This sounds counter-intuitive, but trust me; a pair of double Ds thinly veiled by a wet white cotton t-shirt (nipples erect of course) is the last thing you want out there with you while you try to pilot a motorcycle for the first time on a course full of mostly other guys piloting a motorcycle for the first time.

I really don't care about the motorcycles at all. Not even a little bit.

Learned this the day I bought my 700 pound bike - during my first ride in the dealer parking lot
